  9.    GAMESCAPE is a powerful program that enables you to write and
  10. distribute your own graphic adventure games.  Gamescape contains an
  11. "adventure engine" that allows you to describe locations and rooms,
  12. objects, recognizable words, messages, and occurrences that happen
  13. within the game.  You can also include sound, music, hi-res color
  14. graphics, character graphics, random happenings and more.

  16.    Gamescape encodes information so your game secrets cannot be
  17. deciphered by end users, and allows games to be "linked" so your
  18. adventures can be of any length.  It provides you the ability to design
  19. incredibly detailed and large adventure games with great ease.

  21.    Once the game is finished, registered users are allowed to distribute
  22. the games with no royalty fee-- the initial registration is all that's
  23. required.  Even if you don't want to write games, Gamescape is an
  24. excellent system for learning basic programming principles.  If you've
  25. had trouble figuring out how to program your computer, Gamescape may be
  26. the link you need; it is very easy to learn and use.
